About Kristi

Kristi is a dedicated vocalist with a distinctive, wide ranging, and powerful voice. She has an electrifying stage presence and her high energy level captivates audiences. Kristi has been performing and singing for audiences nationwide for over 30 years. Her childhood debut as a singer and performer was during the "Little Miss Virginia" beauty pageant when she was just 8 years old. Kristi has won numerous beauty pageant titles, talent awards, and received national recognition for singing and performing. She has performed with club bands, vocal ensembles and choirs, high school and college musical productions, and recorded session vocals. 
Kristi grew up in the south where she developed a strong love for soul, rhythm & blues and jazz. Some of her vocal influences are: Aretha Franklin, Louann Barton, Etta James, Ruth Brown, Koko Taylor and Natalie Cole. In 1988, Kristi was chosen to audition for the television talent competition "Star Search" and in March of 2008 was chosen to audition for the television show "America's Got Talent" in Los Angeles, CA. Kristi has performed a variety of musical genre including: Blue Grass, Country, Broadway Show Tunes, Classical, Pop, Rock n Roll, Classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues, and Jazz. 
Kristi was the lead vocalist for the R & B band "Cool Stack" from 2008-2009 and was nominated for "Best Female Vocalist" and "Best Female Performer" for the 2009 Inland Empire Blues Society Awards. Kristi has been the Lead Singer for some of the Inland Northwest’s greatest dance bands which include: The Great Escape, On Tap, Cool Stack, and Kristi & The Spellbinders.
